David Pilcer, originally from Nancy, France. First started collecting crates when he managed a wine bar in Paris years ago. The Chateau that supplied the wine would deliver their bottles in crates with the name of the vineyard printed on the side. David became passionate about collecting, preserving, & restoring these crates. When he moved to the USA in 2010 his search for vintage vineyard crates continued in California Wine Country & Napa Valley. David set out to seek more hidden treasures & share them with the rest of the world.

 

David's vintage crates are a one of a kind collectors item. Sourced from Northern California, also know as wine country and recognized as a premium wine growing region. Viticulture and wine making have been practiced in the region since the mid-19th century. Each crate from year to the region has unique markings and tell a different story.
